Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative position is a revenue generating position responsible for generating ***** profit in excess of $6 million dollars annually as part of a team. This position is the first level of a field sales career progression to field Account Manager. The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to manage effective relationships with customers ensuring existing business and developing new business opportunities with new customers.

·    Partner with field Account Manager in a specific region / territory to maximize business and profitable revenue by prospecting, qualifying, soliciting and managing assigned accounts to meet growth and profit goals

·    Develop and implement strategies to manage, maintain and/or expand sales and promote Estes transportation services using diagnostic selling

·    Evaluate new and existing business opportunities and propose pricing and operational programs that meet the company objectives and the customer’s needs through interface with the customer and Estes key stake holders. Develop and execute strategies to maximize growth and profitability by sharing additional offerings to provide value added service

·    Negotiate and implement new and revised pricing programs for the assigned customer base through collaborative efforts with pricing, operations and sales

·    Cold call customers not currently utilizing Estes’ services to gain new business and re-establish customer relationships. Transition business to field Account Manager as appropriate, ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction. Contact customers on a regular basis to ensure account relationship effectiveness

·    Collaborate with customer support to resolve customer issues / problems (e.g. obtaining rates, tracing, coverage, scheduling pickups, resolving invoicing errors, etc.). Research and make recommendations for improvements to ensure customer satisfaction

·    Manage and maintain all customer file records on Customer Resource Management tool

·    Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

·    Industry experience or previous inside /outside sales experience preferred

·    Good computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications

·    Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, listening and written communication skills. Must be able to interact positively with both internal & external customers and be able to collaborate in a team environment

·    Must be able to set, pursue & attain goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances and must be able to effectively manage adversity

·    Must possess good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within a given time frame

·    Must be accountable and self-directed

·    Must be willing to relocate in order to advance in a career progression for account managers

·    Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job

·    Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct

·    Must be able to interact well with others

·    Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting

·    Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities

·    Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines

·    Must pass a pre-employment **** screen, random **** and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check

·    Must be authorized to work in the United States
