Announcements for the Week of December 8, 2024

1. We’re excited to share that for the month of November – Mt. Gilead led 200 people to receive salvation! As you witness to others about Jesus Christ, be sure to let us know on the Slack App. For instructions, click on the Slack App icon on our Online Registration page.

2. Parents, we encourage you take advantage of our Transformation Institute On-Demand Course, “Disciplines of a Godly Family.” This course will equip you with Biblical principles and practical tools to cultivate a Godly home environment. View each video on your own time and at your own pace. To register for this course or any on-demand course within our Transformation Institute, visit our church Online Registration page.

3. Our Special Care Ministry is hosting a Teddy Bear Outreach on Saturday, December 14th to bless children overcoming illness. We’re heading to St. Mary’s Hospital with teddy bears, balloons and toys. If you’re interested in supporting outreaches like these, consider joining our Special Care Ministry. Submit a Helps Ministry application today!

4. Happening on Saturday, December 14th, the Carmax Tacky Light Run! Grab your tackiest Christmas sweater and join the WOW Fitness Club at 6pm in Midlothian. Adults and children of all fitness levels are invited to come out. To learn more and register visit our WOW Fitness Facebook page.

5. 2024 has been a year of abundant harvest at the Mt. Gilead Farm and we need your help with our final harvest of the calendar year! Join the Seed Time & Harvest Ministry on Tuesday, December 17th from 9:00am – 2:00pm. You can sign up to volunteer on our church online registration page.

6. Our domestic missions ministry, Operation Thunder is hosting a holiday outreach on Sunday, December 22nd at the VA Medical Center. Help us spread the love of Jesus Christ. Please sign up to volunteer on our Online Registration.

7. While you’re out buying Christmas gifts, consider shopping at our bookstore, the Mt. Gilead Transformation Center! We have books, gifts and other items your friends and family would enjoy. Give the gift of Jesus through items that represent the Kingdom! Stop by and shop our new items and items on sale!

8. Our Mt. Gala is this Friday! Doors open at 5pm. This year, we are using electronic tickets for entry. If you need assistance retrieving the barcode sent to your email, please stop by the Grand Concourse after service and see a representative from our IT Ministry.

9. The 2025 Missions Application is available online. If you’re interested in traveling on the mission field next year, submit your application before the end of the year. You can access the application on our church website, under Member Services, then Forms, and then Applications.
