Position: Box Truck Driver – OTR (Non-CDL), Full-Time

Pay Range starting avg 20-30/hr

Responsibilities:

·       Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.

·       Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

·       Load and unload cargo with care and attention to detail.

·       Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

·       Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle’s safety and functionality.

·       Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.

Requirements:

·       Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residency (CDL not mandatory).

·       Have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred but not mandatory).

·       Knowledge of DOT compliance is desirable, and ongoing training will be provided as required.

·       Be at least 25 years of age.

·       Pass a pre-employment **** screening, including no *********.

·       Favorable pre-employment background check.

·       Have a good driving record (provide motor vehicle report).

o   No DUI in the last 5 years.

o   No license suspensions in the last 3 years.

o   No major at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.

·       Own a reliable Smartphone.

·       Be able to operate a pallet jack and liftgate.

·       Be physically fit enough to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily.

·       Be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

·       Be able to load and unload the truck.

Skills:

·       Proficient in commercial driving techniques and safety protocols.

·       Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

·       Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

·       Ability to navigate using GPS systems or other routing tools.

·       Strong customer service skills to interact with clients during deliveries.
