Announcements for the Week of September 6, 2026

1. We look forward to hosting another Children’s Dedication during our 10AM Sunday Worship Encounter! This is a special moment for families to publicly dedicate their children to the Lord through prayer. It’s open to everyone, whether you’re a member or not.  If you have a child that you would like to be dedicated, please complete an Interest Form today.
2. Join our spiritual covering – Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr. for the next LTMA Apostolic Impartation Conference! It’s happening September 9^th through 11^th in Darrow, LA.  These conferences are designed to strengthen personal spiritual foundations and release apostolic and prophetic impartation.  Make plans to be there onsite or online. 3. On Tuesday, September 8^th, Bishop Robertson will meet with Elders, launching our leadership tier meetings this month. Then, Elders meet with Overseers on the following Tuesday, September 15^th.
4. Operation Thunder will be back on the streets this week for our monthly outreach. On Saturday, September 12^th, we’re providing meals, prayer, and encouragement in six locations across central Virginia.  Let us know you’re volunteering, by signing up online.
5. Our next Marriage Readiness Course starts Sunday, September 13^th immediately following worship service. Assistant Pastor Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Minister Audrea lead this six-week class, which is open members and non-members.  These sessions are available to engaged couples, married couples looking for a boost, and singles who want to prepare for marriage.  Complete our online Interest Form today.
6. Ladies, make plans to attend our Women’s Ministry Prayer Session! It’s happening Saturday, September 19^th at 10am.  All women of Mt. Gilead and those connected to our ministry are welcome to participate.
7. Here at Mt. Gilead, we are focused on training disciples to evangelize the world. If you’re interested in becoming a licensed minister of the Gospel, please complete an application on our Online Registration page.
8. Friendly reminder: the church campus will be closed Monday, September 7^th in observance of Labor Day.
9. Enrollment is underway for Apostle Thompson’s ministry school, Ever Increasing Word Training Center! This two-year program will teach you how to flow in the apostolic as you carry out your Kingdom assignment!  Classes begin September 14^th.  Visit EIWM.org/EIWTC for details! 
10. Our next “Spirit-Filled Prayer for the City” is happening Tuesday, September 15^th from 7PM to 8PM. Let’s come together in unity and corporately pray for Richmond and the surrounding communities.
