ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements for the Week of December 14, 2025
- We praise God for the local impact we’re making in central Virginia. Here are highlights from the third quarter. We distributed 900 gallons of water during the summer heat wave, and we provided meals and care packages in eight locations across the Richmond area. Our Men’s Ministry assisted with Freshmen Move-In Day at Virginia State University. We also expanded mentorship efforts at Boushall Middle and Patrick Henry Elementary schools. Our Pro-Life ministry attended the “Richmond for Life” forum, connecting with local ministries that advocate for life. We volunteered at the Chesterfield Food Bank and hosted a prayer caravan through the courts in Richmond. Mt. Gilead was also recognized by the Central Virginia V-A Health System for our commitment to serving veterans at the V-A Hospital.
- We’ll be back at the Richmond V-A Medical Center for our final outreach of the year with Operation Thunder. Join us as we bring holiday cheer to our veterans. It’s happening on Sunday, December 21st at 4PM. Let us know you’re coming, by signing up on our Online Registration page.
