Announcements for the Week of August 30, 2026

1. Enrollment is underway for Apostle Thompson’s ministry school, Ever Increasing Word Training Center! This two-year program will teach you how to flow in the apostolic as you carry out your Kingdom assignment!  Classes begin September 14^th.  Visit EIWM.org/EIWTC for details! 
2. Ladies, save the date for our next WOW Encounter! Join Co-Pastor Elena Robertson and our Women’s Ministry on Friday, October 23^rd at 7PM.  Registration is required, so head to our church website to sign up! 
3. Operation Thunder will be back on the streets for our next monthly outreach. On Saturday, September 13^th, we’re providing meals, prayer, and encouragement in six locations across central Virginia.  Let us know you’re volunteering, by signing up online.
4. Our next “Spirit-Filled Prayer for the City” is happening Tuesday, September 15^th from 7PM to 8PM. Let’s come together in unity and corporately pray for Richmond and the surrounding communities.
5. We have a new TV Commercial airing on ABC-8 about the Mt. Gilead Farm. This is a friendly reminder to invite someone to volunteer with you at the Mt. Gilead Farm.  It’s a great way to introduce them to the ministry!
6. Save the date for International Day 2026 on Sunday, September 27^th. This year’s theme is: “Nations & Generations:  Making His Name Known” based on Psalm 102:18.
7. Remember to keep our Tanzania missionaries in prayer as they prepare to return home this week! We look forward to hearing the amazing prayer reports!
8. Don’t forget our Journey to Debt-Freedom Course launches on Monday, August 31^st at 6:30PM. If you’re serious about walking in financial freedom, we encourage you to sign up!
9. Our next Marriage Readiness Course starts Sunday, September 13^th immediately following worship service. Assistant Pastor Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Minister Audrea lead this six-week class, which is open members and non-members.  These sessions are available to engaged couples, married couples looking for a boost, and singles who want to prepare for marriage.  Complete our online Interest Form today.
10. We’re welcoming some new members into the Mt. Gilead family. Our next New Members Orientation is happening Sunday, September 20^th and Tuesday, September 22^nd. Orientation is mandatory for all new members.  Please connect with our New Members Ministry to register for orientation.
