Announcements for the Week of April 12, 2026

  1. For the month of March, Gilead led 3,539 people to Christ! This is what it’s all about – changing lives with the Word of God! As you witness to others about Jesus, let us know on the Slack App. To join, Mt. Gilead’s team, visit our Online Registration page for instructions.
  2. If you recently received salvation or rededicated your life to Christ, we have a special class just for you. Join us for our next Foundation for New Believers Class on Saturday, April 25th at 9:30AM.  Let us know you’re coming by registering on our church website.
  3. On Monday, April 13th, our Kingdom Overcomers Support Ministry will meet at 7PM. This group caters to those overcoming any form of addiction.  This is a confidential space for healing and open to anyone, not just members.
  4. On Saturday, April 18th, Operation Thunder is partnering with Virginia State University for a Community Day! Join our domestic missions ministry for food, fun and festivities! Sign up on our church website to volunteer and be a blessing to this community!
  5. Our youth will be back on the Mt. Gilead Farm on Saturday, April 18th at 9:30AM! Parents, this is a great way for your children to get hands-on experience planting and harvesting produce on our farm.  Let us know you’re coming by signing up online.
  6. Our Just Support ministry has a new name – “Just Support Extended.” This is because we are not only providing encouragement to cancer survivors and their caregivers, but now we’re extending support to those who care for elderly or aging loved ones.  If you’re a caregiver, you’re invited to the next encounter happening on Monday, April 27th at 6:30PM.  Please take a moment to register online and let us know you’re coming.
  7. Our Pro-Life Ministry is heading to the Virginia March for Life on Wednesday, April 22nd in downtown Richmond.  Now, more than ever, it’s important to be a voice for the unborn and show up with love and truth.  If you’re interested in participating, stop by the kiosk in the Grand Concourse after worship service to learn more and sign up.
