Announcements for the Week of November 16, 2025

  1. For the month of October, we helped 1,292 people receive salvation!  Glory to God! As you witness to others about Jesus Christ, remember to join Mt. Gilead on the Slack App.  For instructions, visit our Online Registration page.
  2. Sunday, November 16 is the last day to place an order for Thanksgiving meals from the Gourmet Grille.  Menu items include deep fried turkey, honey glazed ham, braised beef oxtails, lamb stew and a variety of sides and desserts. View and place an order for your holiday meal by clicking on the Thanksgiving web banner on our church website.
  3. Sunday, November 16 is the last day to apply for the Mentor in You Class of 2026!  This 12-month mentorship journey is designed for women of Mt. Gilead ages 18 and up.  If you’re interested in learning more and applying, visit our Online Registration page.
  4. Our Men’s Ministry Mentorship Encounter is now accepting applications for the next class.  We’re talking about the Elisha Experience 5.0!  This 12-month journey is open to men who are actively serving on Helps Ministry.  Visit our Online Registration page to view and submit your application.  All applications must be received by Monday, December 15th for consideration.
  5. Calling all men!  Our grief support ministry, Oil of Joy is hosting an encounter just for you on Monday, November 17 at 6:30PM.  Join us as we discuss overcoming your emotions and feelings while recognizing the signs of grief.
  6. Mt. Gilead is hosting a community outreach and giving away fresh produce from our farm on Saturday, November 22 – first come, first served!  The event will take place in the Helps Ministry Parking lot from 11AM to 1PM.  We are blessed to be a blessing!
  7. Operation Thunder is hosting a Thanksgiving Turkey Meal Distribution on Saturday, November 22 from 12PM to 2PM.  We will provide uncooked turkey meals to those in need at various locations around town.  To volunteer, visit our Online Registration page.
  8. Cross Current is our inner healing ministry at Mt. Gilead, led by Rev. Juanita Adams.  The eight-week sessions focus on emotional and spiritual healing.  If you’d like to learn more about the next session happening in the new year, email CrossCurrent@MtGileadFGIM.net.
  9. Our Helps Ministry Banquet, known as the Mt. Gala, is happening on Friday, December 12.  Plans are underway, and we are looking for volunteers to assist with this event. If you are not yet eligible to attend, or just want to help, please visit our website and complete the Volunteer Interest Form.
