Announcements for the Week of August 9, 2026

  1. We praise God for our July soul count – God used our ministry to help 80 people receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. As you share the Gospel with others, let us know by joining Mt. Gilead on the Slack App.  For instructions, visit our Online Registration page.

  2. Bishop and Co-Pastor Robertson will celebrate 38 years of marriage on August 13th. We look forward to honoring this wedding anniversary during our 10AM worship encounter on Sunday, August 9th.

  3. Our Ministry of the Arts is hosting auditions for a new stage production and there are roles available for youth and young adults. Auditions will be held Sunday, August 9th immediately after service and Thursday, August 13th at 6pm.  Head to our church website to learn more and sign up to audition.

  4. Applications are now open for WOW Factor 9.0. Ladies, this is a safe place to learn how to properly lose weight through exercise, proper nutrition, accountability, and most importantly, God’s help.  Let our WOW Fitness Coaches help you achieve your wellness goals.  All applications must be received by Monday, August 17th for consideration.

  5. Our next Kingdom Overcomers Support Ministry will meet on Monday, August 10th at 7pm. This ministry supports members and non-members who are overcoming addiction.  All sessions are confidential.  We encourage you to receive support along your recovery journey.

  6. On Saturday, August 15th at 9:30AM, our youth are serving at the Mt. Gilead Farm. Parents, let us know your child is coming to “GenSalve at the Farm” by registering online.

  7. Our grief support ministry is hosting an encounter on Monday, August 17th at 6:30PM. Join Oil of Joy on campus as we discuss ways to release grief from your body.

  8. If you recently received salvation or rededicated your life to Christ, we have a special class just for you. Join us for our next Foundation for New Believers Class on Saturday, August 22nd at 9:30AM.  Let us know you’re coming by registering on our church website.
