Announcements for the Week of December 7, 2025

  1. 336 new souls came into the Kingdom in November through Mt. Gilead!  As you witness to others, remember to join Mt. Gilead on the Slack App.  For instructions, visit our Online Registration page.
  2. This month, we’re deploying our final missions trip of the year to Uganda!  We look forward to blessing many children there, especially at Christmas time.  If you’re interested in traveling on the mission field next year, applications are available online. Find instructions under Member Services, Forms, and then Applications.  
  3. Our Men’s Ministry Mentorship Encounter is now accepting applications for the next class.  We’re talking about the Elisha Experience 5.0!  This 12-month journey is open to men who are actively serving on Helps Ministry.  Visit our Online Registration page to view and submit your application.  All applications must be received by Monday, December 15th for consideration.
  4. Mt. Gilead, invite your family and friends to our Christmas Community Fest: A Night of Hope & Blessings.  It’s happening on Friday, December 19th at 5:30PM at Huguenot High School.  The event includes refreshments, giveaways, a family photo booth, and a powerful stage play that will bless you this holiday season!   5. Christmas is less than three weeks away!  We encourage you to do your holiday shopping at our ministry bookstore, the Transformation Center. We have a variety of gift options including greeting cards, mugs, journals, and books!  We also have a variety of resources from our apostle, Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr.  Stop by the bookstore this holiday season.
  6. We’re welcoming some new members into the Mt. Gilead family.  Our next New Members Orientation is happening Sunday, December 7th and Tuesday, December 9th. Orientation is mandatory for all new members.!
  7. Our Kingdom Overcomers Support Ministry meets on Monday, December 8th at 7PM.  This ministry caters to those overcoming any type of addiction.
  8. On Friday, December 12th, we’re excited to host the Mt. Gala.  Doors open at 5PM, dinner begins at 5:30PM, and the program starts at 7PM. We look forward to celebrating our Helps Ministry volunteers.
  9. 2026 Missions Applications are now available on our website.  Click “Member Services,” then “Forms,” then “Applications” for details.  Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025.
  10. Cross Current is our inner healing ministry at Mt. Gilead, led by Rev. Juanita Adams.  The eight-week sessions focus on emotional and spiritual healing.  If you’d like to learn more about the next session happening in the new year, email CrossCurrent@MtGileadFGIM.net.
