Announcements for the Week of March 29, 2026

  1. GenSalve RVA is diving into apologetics during our Wednesday night sessions! Our middle and high school students are exploring different worldviews and building a solid biblical foundation. This isn’t just about what we believe, but why we believe it. We’re equipping our students to confidently defend their faith, so they’re not just Christians because someone told them to be, but because they truly understand it for themselves. Join us every Wednesday at 7pm!

  2. We also want to take a moment to highlight our youth classrooms. Each space has been uniquely designed with creativity and purpose — to inspire every age group towards missions and living out the calling God has placed on their lives.

  3. GenSalve had the opportunity to contribute $1,000 to the Hey King Initiative started by Dr. Derwin Hickman, one of Bishop Robertson’s sons in ministry. We were able to help suit up the Petersburg High School basketball team, who went on to become state champions! This initiative is helping 100 young men walk in confidence, purpose, and excellence. We are proud to be a part of it!

  4. GenSalve is back serving on the Mt. Gilead Farm every third Saturday from 9:30am – 12pm! If you’re looking for a way to give back, serve, and be part of something meaningful, this is your chance. We’d love to have you join us!

  5. You’re invited to a Worship Night hosted by GenSalve Mature, our young adult ministry, called “The Refreshing.” It’s happening on Good Friday, April 3rd, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The event is open to everyone! No registration required. Just come ready to worship, encounter God, and be in community. Attire is casual.

  6. We look forward to celebrating our risen Savior this upcoming Sunday, April 5th! Our Resurrection Sunday Worship Encounter is the perfect opportunity to invite loved ones to service.  Enjoy a special brunch from the Gourmet Grille before service from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in Café 2.  We will also have a variety of desserts available for pick up after service in the Grand Concourse.

  7. Our Hidden Treasure Ministry is hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Session on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. If you’re interested in learning how to recognize the signs of human trafficking, we encourage you to attend.

  8. Ladies, you’re invited to WOW Encounter! Join Co-Pastor Elena Robertson and our women’s ministry on Friday, April 10th at 7PM.  We have an awesome night planned, including our WOW After Party.  We’ll see you there!

  9. Please continue to keep our Uganda missionaries in prayer as they head home this week. We look forward to hearing the praise reports of how God used our team!
