desire to succeed are the two motivating factors that largely influenced Executive Chef Shannon Davis to pursue a career as a professional chef. Interested in all aspects of the culinary arts, Chef Shannon brings 25 years of experience to his position as the Executive Chef of Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries.\u00a0He\u2019s a faithful member of the ministry and has served as the Executive Chef for 15 years.<\/p><p>He completed his formal culinary training at the highly acclaimed Johnson &amp; Wales University. Upon completion of his training, he interned at the Callaway Gardens Resort located in the picturesque surroundings of Pine Mountain, Georgia. While serving at Callaway Gardens, Chef Shannon perfected his skill and creativity in the areas of fine dining, buffet service, banquets, and baking. He is a member of the ACF (American Culinary Federation), WACS (World Association of Chefs Societies) and Virginia Chefs Association Inc.<\/p><p>His attention to detail and flair for the extraordinary was developed under the tutelage of the renowned Chef Hans Schadler during his tenure at the five-star Williamsburg Inn Hotel. As Food Service Director for two of the largest food service providers in the world, Chef Shannon has opened seven international food courts and gained invaluable experience in both the operations and food service arenas.
