In the book of Romans 12:1 in a powerful passage written by the Apostle Paul about every believer’s responsibility to present your body as a living sacrifice; holy and acceptable unto God. He says that doing this is your reasonable service; it is your spiritual act of worship. In this 2-part message, Co-Pastor Elena Robertson admonishes believers to step away from tradition and religion, to walk away from the routine and the rituals, and approach your life as a decisive dedication of not just your body, but the very essence of who you are.
The only way we can present ourselves to Him as our reasonable service, we must first understand the mercies of God. This message provokes you to embrace a new level of awareness of who He is and what He has done for the born again, blood bought, believers, of Jesus Christ. If you believe that His mercies are new every morning, then you know that Jesus paid a debt that we could not pay. It is out of that awareness, that we are positioned to worship Him as our reasonable – in spirit and in truth!
