  1. Sunday, November 19th is the last day to sign up for The Mentor in You Training Program, affectionately known as “MIY.”  MIY was birthed in 2012 by Co-Pastor Elena Robertson. This 12-month program is designed to disciple women of all ages, from 18-and up who desire to pursue God’s best for their lives. Applications are available on our church website, as well as
  2. In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no mid-week service on Wednesday, November 22nd. Please note the church office and facility will close on Tuesday, November 21st at 1pm and remain closed through Saturday, November 25th.
  3. If you ordered a Thanksgiving meal from our Gourmet Kitchen, you can pick up your food in the Grand Concourse on Tuesday, November 21st from 1pm to 5pm or Wednesday, November 22nd from 12pm to 3pm.
  4. Assist our young adult ministry with cleaning the sanctuary this month. Young CEO is looking for adults between 18 and 35 to help after service on Sunday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 29th.
  5. Parents, our Youth Ministry, Kounter Culture, will review Report Cards on Sunday, November 26th & Sunday, December 3rd in the Youth Area, immediately following worship service. Please bring your child’s report card, so we can celebrate Honor Roll students and graduates at the end of the school year.
  6. If you’re new to the Mt. Gilead family, make plans to join us for New Members’ Orientation next month. Part 1 will take place Saturday, December 2nd at 10am followed by Part 2, which includes our Welcome Dinner on Tuesday, December 5th at 5:50pm. New Members Orientation is mandatory for all new members.
  7. The first single from the Mt. Gilead Choir’s debut album, “Flow with the Spirit” is now available online. We’re talking about the song, “Forever Reign!” Sample the track and pre-order your CD today by heading to our church website!
  8. This year’s Helps Ministry Banquet will be held Friday, December 15th at 7pm. Registration is now available on our church website: This annual banquet honors those who serve on Helps Ministry throughout the year.
